Squash and Stretch

This is squash and stretch in which coyote is smashed by a boulder

Anticipation

This shows anticipation when Tom is running to catch the pool ball.

Staging

Staging is used a lot in The Pink Panther, using simple backgrounds to draw attention to the characters.

Straight Ahead and Pose to Pose

Straight ahead is when you start from a point and continue to animate frames from there, where pose to pose is starting at the beginning and end, and places in the middle and working in from there.

Follow Through and Overlapping

The characters follow the laws of physics and gravity.

Slow in and Slow out

Slow in and slow out when Jerry and the duck start running.

Arcs

Both the fish and the penguin move in arcs instead of linear movements.

Secondary Action

Secondary action, Tom’s tail reacts to him running.

Timing

Shows timing to set emotion and speed.

Exaggeration

In this they exaggerated how fast Tom was going.

Solid drawing

Takes weight and volume into account as a 3d space instead of just a 2d space.

Appeal

Appealing to an audience with simple characters and no set plot or story.

This is a good example of symmetrical balance because the railway is the same on each side.

this flower creates a focal point because this is the most colourful out of the whole image, and the ground is very dull and dark.
